Center Assistant Director
Kate Casey-Sawicki, MA is the new assistant director for the UF CRRR/BREATHE (Breathing Research and Therapeutics) and TRACS (Trauma, Concussion, and Sports) Programs. As Assistant Director, Ms. Casey-Sawicki is responsible for management of day-to-day center activities and development of new initiatives. Ms. Casey-Sawicki is a graduate of the University of Maine and the University of Florida, and has over a decade of experience in research/project management, grant writing (e.g., P20, U01, R01, and SBIR projects), protocol development and science editing. Notably, she was recently the Communications Coordinator for the PCORI-funded COMPPARE Consortium, a multi-institutional comparative effectiveness study, and previously taught technical and grant writing courses at Santa Fe College.
